Mehdii Baboa has been immersed in the field of optometry since the age of 14, beginning his career in a local Independent optical practice. Many years later, he completed his professional training at City University and Moorfields Eye Hospital, where he gained extensive experience in advanced eye care. Over the years, Mehdii has worked with multiple high-end practices, providing detailed eye care using the latest eye care technology. Driven by his passion for domiciliary care and Optometry, he founded Optovisit. With special interests in medical retina including Glaucoma and binocular vision. Mehdii is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients in both individual and care home settings.

In his spare time, Mehdii enjoys renovating his own home from being self taught plumbing to carpentry work.

Shanaz Baboa, co-founder of Optovisit, has worked in the field of optometry from an early age. With a warm and personable approach, she has managed boutique optical practices, ensuring a high standard of care and attention to detail. Shanaz completed her training at City University and Moorfields Eye Hospital, where she developed expertise in advanced eye care. Her special interests include medical retina, anterior eye conditions, and cataracts.

Shanaz has also made a positive impact by helping with the Friends of Moorfields group and providing eye care services for various charities. With a keen eye for fashion, she ensures her patients always look and feel their best.

In her spare time, Shanaz enjoys reading, crochet, and baking.
